Though Dr. Richard’s area of specialty is sex therapy, she is qualified to help patients with a broad spectrum of emotional and relational concerns. Her approach is “if what you’re doing isn’t working, I’ll help you find what will.” Her purpose is to help patients achieve their goals in a way that works best for them. She warmly accepts and supports them along their way.

Life frequently demands change, and Dr. Richard helps patients transition through those changes efficiently and productively. We carry the answers we need within us. Sometimes, though, we need a little help uncovering these answers. Dr. Richard is here to help.

Dr. Richard also believes the areas in one’s life that receive the most attention are the areas that will thrive. Her approach includes reinforcing the patient’s strengths, supporting the person as a whole to thrive.

Intimacy Affects Us All

At the heart of so many emotional concerns are issues of physical and emotional intimacy. Working together with a licensed psychotherapist who is also a well-qualified sex therapist can make all the difference.

Many who struggle with sexual and gender concerns agonize in a web of shame and silence that deeply impacts their ability to relate in meaningful and satisfying ways with their partners.
